What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to the user’s terminal, where they are stored to be retransmitted to the same websites on subsequent visits. The browser storage areas (sessionStorage) listed below work in a similar way.
Technical cookies
This website uses technical cookies and storage necessary for its operation, navigation and delivery of the service requested by the user. They do not require consent.

Visit statistics
To understand which pages are useful and where the website can improve, we use TrackTeo, a statistics tool run by TeoTech, the website’s technical provider, on Cloudflare servers; the data are stored in the European Union. The data are used only to produce aggregate statistics about this website: which pages are visited, in what order, how far they are read, which buttons are used.

Besides the pages, we record the source of the visit (e.g. a search engine), the device type (mobile or desktop) and the country. We do not keep IP addresses, browser data or text typed into forms; the data are not shared with third parties or used for advertising or profiling, and they are deleted after 13 months. For this reason, under the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines of 10 June 2021, these tools are treated as technical cookies and do not require consent.

The contact form also has an optional box: only if you tick it, the number of your visits and the days since the first one are added to your request.
Google Analytics
We also use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, to measure visits to the website. Google collects the pages visited, the source of the visit, the device and browser type and the approximate location; Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. The data are kept for the period set in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.

Google Signals and ad personalisation are on: if you are signed in to a Google account and have turned on ad personalisation, Google may link these data to your account and use them for its own services, as an independent controller, under its privacy policy. The data may be transferred to the United States, with the safeguards of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
You can turn off Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on and manage ad personalisation in Google’s My Ad Center.
Third-party services
The website may link to third-party services (e.g. Google Maps for directions to our offices, WhatsApp). The use of such services is governed by the privacy notices of the respective providers.
Managing your preferences
The website does not show a banner because it does not use cookies that require consent. You can still delete or block cookies in your browser settings, turn off the TrackTeo statistics with the button above and Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
